Shardha Lipi Programme
A digital magazine in Shardalipi released on the occassion of Sharda Ashtami - 04 -09 -2022
- Chief Guest: , Dr Rakesh Sinha, Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha, highlighted the contribution of Kashmiri Pandits to Indian culture and ethos and said that Kashmir had produced world famous scholars of Shastras.
- Padmashri Dr KN Pandita and Dr Vikrant Ji Prant Kariwah were the special guests. Dr MK Bharat, President SSK, were also present on the occasion.
- Late Prakash Ram Bhat (Kurgami) was conferred with prestigious ‘Sharda Saman’ which was received by Smt Veena and Anil Pandita.
- On the occasion, the Chief Guest and other dignitaries released a digital magazine in Shardalipi amid thunderous applauds.
- Certificates were also distributed among the achievers by the Chief Guest and other dignitaries on the occasion.
- At the end, ‘maha bhog’ was also served among the audience after the culmination of Mahayagya.
- proceedings of the programme were conducted by social activist, Radhey Shyam Mussa.
Hand written Shrimad Bhagwat Gita and Shiv Stotra Sangraha in Sharadalipi released at SSK Bohri on 07-08-2022
- A simple but impressive function was organised by Sharda Section and Sanskrit Section of Sanjeevani Sharada Kendra at SSK Bohri. The programme started with lighting of lamp by the chief guest Sh Shiben Lal Koul in the presence of Sh Avtar Krishan Trakroo from SSK and Sanskrit scholars Smt Neelam Ji and Dr Ashok Kumar Sharma. Mementos were presented to Dr Ashok Kumar Sharma and Smt Neelam Ji Razdan for their contribution for taking Sanskrit classes of SSK.
- The main attraction of the function was releasing of two books viz., Shrimad Bhagwat Gita and Shiv Stotra Sangrah written in Shardalipi by Sh Shiben Lal Koul – Sharda scholar and a writer of repute.
- Merit certificates in Shardalipi and Sanskrit were distributed among passout students by Sh. Sanjay Kumar Pandita l/C Sharda Section and Sh S.K Kandroo l/C Sanskrit Section respectively
- The programme was compered by Sh Radhay Shyam Ji while Vote of thanks was given by Sh Bansi Lal Naru, senior of SSK.
Guri Tritiya Programme 2021
On 14 Feb 2021, Celebration of Guru Tritya and Certificate Distribution of Sharda Lipi at Sanjeevni Sharda Kendra Bohri Jammu Certificates shall also be awarded to the students who have successfully completed the shardalipi course. Prof. Manoj Dhar, Vice-Chancellor, University of Jammu shall be the Chief Guest at the function
MoU HP CU 2021
Kuldeep Chand Agnihotri, Vice Chancellor, Central University of Himachal Pradesh (CUHP) today said Sanjeevani Shardha Kendra (SSK), Anand Nagar Bohri, is leaving no stone unturned in promoting Shardha script across the globe and creating history in preserving culture, language, ethics, rituals and defeating designs of ancient invaders who had made an onslaught on culture, traditions and linguistics of Kashmiri Hindus,
He was addressing a function at SSK Anand Nagar, near here, today held in connection with signing Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in preserving language and promoting Shardha script which was signed by him and Avtar Krishan Trakroo, chairman SSK.
The MoU was signed between the CUHP, Dharamshala and SSK, Anand Nagar, Bohri to revive and promote Sharada script under the provisions of propagating Indian languages in their original script.
The programme started by Sharda Vandana by Snaatan Raina, Kamakshi Raina, Sushima Pandita and Anita Bhat. Prof. Agnihotri, was the chief guest at the function which was presided over by Padmashree Dr. K. N. Pandita.
In his address the Prof Agnihotri dealt in detail about the historical importance of the Sharda script and informed that CUHP has started a one year certificate course of Kashmiri in Sharda script. He also informed that the original languages and their scripts prevalent before foreign invasions in Central Asia and Northwest Indian Subcontinent were destroyed and people were forced to use Arabic script. Despite invasion of the Kashmir in 14th Century by foreign rulers the people in Kashmir preserved their own language though its script was forcibly changed from Sharda to Arabic, he added.
In his presidential address Dr. K. N. Pandita said that Sharada script is the native script of Kashmir and is named after goddess Shrada- The deity of knowledge and intellect. He also explained the historical development of Shardalipi which was widespread in whole of the Northwestern part of Indian Subcontinent and the original manuscript of Kalhan’s Rajtarangni was in Sharda script.
Chairman, SSK, Avtar Krishan Trakroo in his welcome address threw light on the sacrifices of ancient Kashmiri leaders in preserving language, culture and other allied rituals.
Sanjay Pandita co-ordinator of the Sharda Section in SSK threw light on the journey of the Kendra in revival of the Shardalipi and training of more than 700 participants till date.
The vote of thanks was presented by Prof. Sundeep Pandita and the programme was conducted by Radhey Sham.
SSK honoured Shardalipi teacher
During the lockdown due to Covid-19 pandemic SSK has taken an initiative to teach the Sharda script through whatsapp medium among the interesting participants
Till date fifteen batches of more than 450 participants have successfully completed the course. The teaching of the sharada script is being conducted under the guidance of Sh. Sanjay Pandita who has been sincerely and meticulously training the participants. Due to his tireless and sincere efforts a pool of forty trained teachers in sharda has been created
The function was presided over by Sh. Avtar KrishenTrakroo and Dr. Satya Bhan was Guest of Honour. The function began with a welcome address by Sh. S. K. Kandroo and presentation of roses to Sh. Sanjay Ji by all the participating shardalipi students
