Samoohik Shivratri festival celebrated at Sanjeevani Sharda Kendra Anand Nagar Bohri 10-03-2024

 

  • Chief Guest of the function Param Pujya 108 Sri Hrydyanand ji Maharaj of Hryday Deep Ashram, Jeevan Nagar, Jammu, said that Kashmiri pandits are the shining symbols of India’s great cultural legacy.
  • Noted scholar of Kashmiri Karam Kand, Tantra , Jyotish and founding member of Satisar foundation Kamlesh Tufchi gave a wonderful and detailed presentation of the various aspects of Shivratri, quoting the Shivmahimna strotra, he said that the greatness of Shiva is so vast that even Bhrama and Vishnu expressed their inability  to fathom the greatness of Shiva.
  • Relief Commissioner of the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir, Arvind karvani who presided over the function thanked the organisers of the fuction in helping spread the essence and meaning of this great festival among the young members of the community.
  • The chairperson of the Kendra Prof M K Bharat who is a well- known writer presented the vote of thanks and also listed the various multi-faceted activities of the kendra. On the historic occasion of the celebration of 5100 years of sapth-Rishi Samvat, a calendar dedicated to seven (Sapth- Rishis) was also released by the dignitaries.

Mahashivratri Programme celebrated by SSK - 19/02/2023

  • Chief Guest of the function Sh. Atal Dulloo, Additional Chief Secretary, J&K Govt talked about the spiritual and cultural ethos of Jammu and Kashmir and stressed the need for working together in unity for the growth and prosperity of the community.
  • Guest of Honour, Swami Yagyadharanad, Secretay Ramkrishna Mission, Jammu congratulated the Kashmiri Pandit community especially the younger generation for their efforts in preserving their cultural legacy despite displacement of the community from their roots.
  • The calendar (Prerna-Chitra) for the year 2023-2024 bearing the portrait of Kalhana Pandit the author of Rajatarangini was released by the guests on dice.
  • Earlier Sh Shanti Lal Sidh sung Shiva bhajans and Geeta path was recited by Lakshya Raina, Muskan Razdan and Vanshika Razdan, students of Bhramrishi Geeta Pathshala Jagti. Miss Adhitri Naru performed Shiv Tandva at the moment. To conclude the Shivratri celebration
  • samoohik aarti was performed. Sh. Maharaj Krishan Bhat General Secretary of the Kendra thanked the participants for an overwhelming response and joining the Shivratri celebration.

2022

  • The annual Samoohik Shivratri festival by Sanjeevani Sharda Kendra, Anand Nagar Bohri a large number of Kashmiri pundits joined the celebrations at the at Kendra.
  • The event started with the lighting of traditional lamp followed by a Ganesh Bhajan by Sh. Shanti Lal Sidh. . The well com address was made by Sh. Dawarika Nath Raina Senior Trustee & Gen Secretary of the Kendra .
  • Chief Guest Sh. Sanjay Raina, a renowned scholar on traditions and practices of Kashmiri Pandit
  • Guest of Honour, Swami Kumar Ji of Geeta Ashram Muthi
  • Shri Vijay Raina along with his team mesmerised the audience with beautifully designed cultural programme on Shiva and Shakti.
  • The annual calendar for the year 2022-23 prepared by SSK and a book ‘Tral- in Pulwama Kashmir’ by Shri Poshker Nath Raina (Trali) were also released on the occasion.
  • An impressive exhibition depicting various aspects and different steps performed at the time of Shivratri by the Kashmiri Pandits was also displayed by Sh. Bindraban Sher.

2021

  • To continue the celebration of annual Samoohik Mahashivratri, Sanjeevani Sharda Kendra today organised a simple but impressive function at Anand Nagar Bohri. Swami Dinesh Bharti was the chief Guest and Vimarshi Koul as Guest of Honour. 
  • Prof. Satish Bhan presided over the function. Earlier the function started with the lighting of traditional lamp. Sh. Dwarika Nath Raina, Senior Trustee of the Kendra welcomed the guests.

  • Sanjeevani Sharda Kendra, Anand Nagar Bohri, to celebrate Samoohik Shivratri at Abhinav theatre here, today.
  • Swami Gyananand Ji was the chief guest on the occasion said that the situation is perfect now and efforts are on in connection with honored and dignified return of Kashmir Pandits to the Valley.

  • PadamShri Dr. K.N.Pandita , presented formal welcome address, wherein he threw light on the history and significance of Maha Shivratri.

  • Brig (retd) Suchet Singh Prant Sangchalak, J&K,Swami Kumar Ji and Kuldeep Khuda former Chief Vigilance Commissioner, B N Ganjoo retired DIG, B L Bhat and Kuldeep Raina were also present on the occasion.
  • The vote of thanks was presented by trustee of Kendra H.N.Pandita while the proceedings of the program conducted by Dr. M.K. Bharat.
